Sen.-Elect Tim Cullen Announces Committee Assignments
 
Sen.-elect Tim Cullen will serve on the Senate Economic Development Committee and the Transportation Projects Commission, he announced today.
 
“My number one request was to be appointed to the Economic Development Committee,” Cullen said.  “I’m very pleased to get that appointment because my top priority is improving the economy of the Rock County area.
 
“I’m also pleased to be able to serve on the Transportation Projects Commission, which recommends which highway projects across the state should be funded.  Expansion of Interstate 90/39 to four lanes from the State Line to Madison is a key component of our region’s plans to help businesses grow and prosper.  I want to do everything I can to make sure it remains a priority for the Legislature.”
 
The Transportation Projects Commission recommended the project be funded in the next state budget.

  • State and Federal Relations, Information Technology
     
  • Workforce Development, Small Business and Tourism
     
  • Joint Legislative Council
 
When sworn into office on January 3, Cullen will represent most of Rock County and the Whitewater area in the State Senate.
