Sen. Jeff Smith Statement Recognizing Veterans Day
MADISON – Senator Jeff Smith (D-Brunswick) issued the following statement recognizing the contributions and sacrifices our veterans have made for our state and nation in honor of Veterans Day, observed November 11th:
“Today we officially recognize the contributions our veterans have made for our country, but we must always remember the brave servicemen and women who have served our country. The commitment our veterans show day-in and day-out to remaining steadfast in the face of peril is the truest form of honor. From Revolutionary patriots to modern-day soldiers abroad, our state and our nation owe our respect and gratitude to all those who have worn the uniform in our military and the families who supported them.”
