This week Secretary of Tourism Stephanie Klett sat down with WTMJ to discuss Wisconsin’s fish fry tradition.  In her interview, Secretary Klett highlighted Schwarz’s Supper Club in New Holstein and Port Washington’s Fish Day. Listen to the interview here

Schwarz’s Supper Club – St. Anna (near New Holstein)

Schwarz’s Supper Club has been around for more than 50 years and is a community staple.  Schwartz's is most famous for a Friday perch fry.  The supper club has grown to seat over 700 people on a weekend. If you would like to visit this great establishment you can find them at W1688 Sheboygan Rd - New Holstein, WI 53061

Port Washington Fish Day

Port Washington boasts the World's Largest One Day Fish Fry.  The fish day festival includes live music and  entertainment for all ages.  Nine civic organizations run the fish and chips stands throughout the day with profits being turned back into the community in a variety of ways.

Each year, I join the community for the morning parade.
