Executive Order #36 – Seriously?

Madison, WI – State Senator Duey Stroebel (R-Cedarburg) released the below statement following another “one size fits all” policy from Governor Evers that has no basis in reality or science.

“While COVID-19 has created many challenges for Wisconsin, Governor Evers’ mismanagement of this situation has made it worse.  I appreciate any move to reopen our economy, but this policy makes no sense.”

“Large retailers like Kohl’s can clearly accommodate more customers than a small retail store and this state-wide policy of five customers maximum makes no distinction to recognize this clear difference.  This haphazard approach has kept our entire state shut down for far too long.  I trust the citizens and businesses of Wisconsin to have the intelligence to safely execute the reopening of our state.  It is time for the big government Evers’ administration to back off and allow Wisconsin residents the ability exercise some of the freedom and liberties we expect in our democratic republic.
