Sen. Howard Marklein Announces Additional Legislative Listening Sessions

Madison, WI — State Senator Howard Marklein (R-Spring Green) today announced listening sessions for April 2018.  Additional sessions are pending and will be announced at a later date.

“As the 2017-2018 legislative session comes to a close, I have scheduled a series of listening sessions throughout the 17th Senate District to seek your input and ideas. All residents of the 17th Senate District are invited and encouraged to attend,” Marklein said. “If you are unable to attend a session, but would like to share your input, do not hesitate to contact me directly.”

The format for the listening sessions is designed so that every attendee has equal time to share their ideas and thoughts in a respectful environment. Depending on the number of attendees, participants may be asked to sign-up for a three minute time slot to be certain to give as many attendees the chance to speak as possible. Legislative staff will be on hand to coordinate each listening session to maximize audience participation and input.
