Senator Fitzgerald Responds to State of the State Address

[Madison, WI]  This evening, Governor Walker delivered his annual State of the State Address before the Wisconsin Legislature. Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald released the following statement in response:

“I am thrilled to see Governor Walker continuing to present bold ideas for the State of Wisconsin. Tonight’s address showed vision for the future of our state while demonstrating an unflinching commitment to continue to champion the conservative principles of responsible budgeting, reducing the tax burden on Wisconsin’s residents, growing the economy, and developing our workforce.

I look forward to taking a closer look at the initiatives laid out by the Governor this evening, and launching a further discussion of these proposals with the Senate Republican caucus.”

Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) represent the 13th Senate District, which covers portions of Dodge, Jefferson, Waukesha, Washington, Dane, and Columbia counties.
