Tiffany Comments on USFS Townsend Project Without proper management the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest will not provide the habitat and stand diversity that a functioning ecological system requires. Forest harvesting can diversify the forest offering a greater range of habitat that would not normally occur naturally.
