(MADISON) – Senator Patty Schachtner (D-Somerset) and Legislative Democrats will be hosting a series of public town hall events to provide information and collect feedback from Wisconsin residents regarding Foxconn - the largest state taxpayer giveaway to a foreign corporation in U.S. history. In less than a year, the public cost of this project has increased from an original estimate of $3 billion to $4.5 billion. These town hall events will offer local residents an opportunity to meet with state lawmakers, learn more about taxpayer liabilities and comment on recently identified environmental risks.
