Baldwin, WI – Recently, I had the opportunity to stop by Next Generation Auto in Baldwin, WI. Co-owners Jeremy Austrum and Shawn Kline teamed up to start the business in 2011 after working for many years at dealerships and corporate repair facilities.  Next Generation Auto, provides general auto repairs, diagnostic services, tire sales and services for all cars and light trucks, and is founded on the core principles of honesty and providing quality customer service.  When I met Jeremy and Shawn last summer, they told me about a program they started in 2014 called “Deserving Rides."

“Deserving Rides”, now in its fourth year, donates a refurbished car to someone in the area who has consistently put the needs of others before their own. Community residents may nominate a person they believe would be deserving of a refurbished vehicle by visiting www.next-generation-auto.com.  Several Baldwin area businesses partner with Next Generation Auto to provide vehicles for “Deserving Rides” including Wynveen Auto Body, Tri-Star Engines and Transmission and Parts City Auto Parts.

Applications are being accepted until June 16th and the individual selected will be announced at the 4th annual “Deserving Rides” Presentation on Saturday, June 24th, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Next Generation Auto, 910 Hillcrest Street, Baldwin.
