Planned Parenthood in Wisconsin could see its funding cut in half if one area state lawmaker has his way.
Republican Rep. Andre Jacque is drafting three bills after a secretly recorded video goes public.
Recently released videos shows a Planned Parenthood medical director in Southern California meeting with people posing as potential buyers. The buyers are actually activists against abortion.
In the meeting, they discuss making a deal to pay for organs from aborted fetuses. Those buyers discuss how much it would cost to buy certain body parts.
Federal law makes it illegal to sell body parts from aborted fetuses, but Planned Parenthood says that payment is just reimbursement for the cost of harvesting and transporting the specimens, which they say it legal.
Jacque says he wants to make sure the sale and use of aborted fetuses doesn’t happen here.
