Bill targets 'upskirting'
A proposal would make it easier to prosecute people in the state, if they're taking pictures of others under their clothing, without their consent.
A bill that lawmakers are taking up would make what's known as "upskirting" a felony.
Rep. Andre Jacque is a co-sponsor. The De Pere Republican says unfortunately, right now offenders might only be charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Jacque says the bill would close a loophole. He says this wasn't an issue 20 years ago, but it's becoming a more common crime because of cell phone cameras and video.
