Abortion opponents March for Life in Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Local Pro Life supporters hit the streets in Green Bay despite freezing drizzle and icy conditions for the annual March for Life.
Monday marked the 45th anniversary of the US Supreme Court's landmark Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortions during the first trimester of pregnancy.
State Rep. Andre Jacque (R-De Pere) says the marchers advocate for unborn children who can't stand up for themselves.
"Clearly there is a level of community-wide care here -- certainly within government programs as well -- but I think this is an opportunity to reflect and hopefully to spur on for change," Jacque said.
The March for Life is the largest annual Pro Life event in the country, with the most people gathering in Washington, DC. That march in the capital was held over the weekend.
