The WISCONSIN Budget:
A Conservative Budget that Funds our Priorities

Unlike Governor Evers' liberal wishlist that would have hiked taxes and fees on Wisconsin families and businesses by more than $1 billion and increased government spending by $6 billion, The WISCONSIN Budget takes a conservative approach to funding our priorities.

Setting out on building a better budget, Assembly Republicans held over 200 listening sessions around the state and received input from more than 40,000 responses via constituent surveys.

With that input, the WISCONSIN Budget was born. With a record investment in our schools, a continuation of the tuition freeze at UW campuses, more than $500 million in tax cuts to help middle class families, investments in health care without expanding welfare, and the resources needed to fix our roads and bridges, The WISCONSIN Budget is a true reflection of our state's needs and priorities.
