This bibliography presents the types of incentives and mandates states are creating to promote energy conservation and the development of renewable energy resources across the state, especially within state government facilities. Sources explain how Wisconsin and other states have set goals for utilizing renewable energy sources through Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS). Some states have also imposed utility surcharges to fund Public Utility Benefits to finance further research and development for energy conservation and renewable energy. Additional titles address state and local government adoption of green building standards.
