This is the second edition of the Legislative District Almanac to be published by the Legislative Reference Bureau. It is designed to provide legislators, other policy makers, and citizens with demographic data on Wisconsin's 33 state senate districts and 99 assembly districts. To make the information easier to use, we have added graphs and maps to the tables of the previous edition.

The almanac is divided into 33 chapters, one for each state senate district and the three assembly districts which comprise it. Each chapter begins with a map of the counties and municipalities making up these districts. This map is followed by three thematic maps, seven tables, and two graphs. The maps provide a geographic display of each district's unemployment rate, median household income, and urban and rural land use. Tables provide information on race and ethnicity, industry and occupation, income, social security and public assistance, among other things. The graphs are visual representations of select data for age and educational attainment. Maps, tables, and graphs are presented in the same order for each district.

The Wisconsin Legislative District Almanac is organized into a chapter for each state senate district. As the Almanac is a very large publication, you may wish to download only the districts of interest rather than the entire publication. If you want to download or copy the entire publication, use the links at the bottom of this page. Each piece is about 10 megabytes.

Following the Adobe Acrobat version of each chapter is an Excel spreadsheet containing the data for the tables and graphs for that chapter. Below the list of chapters are a set of Excel spreadsheets containing data for all 33 senate and all 99 assembly districts.
