The Legislative Human Resources Office (LHRO) serves both houses of the Wisconsin Legislature.
The LHRO provides the following services:
Conducts benefit orientation for incoming employees;
Assists employees with questions during all phases of employment;
Processes monthly payrolls;
Manages ongoing benefit administration;
Responds to internal questions and concerns related to payroll, benefits, family and medical (FMLA) requests, accommodation requests, harassment/discrimination/retaliation complaints or concerns, worker's compensation claims, risk management compliance, and other human resources needs;
Produces all required monthly, quarterly and annual reports (required for various state and federal entities);
Produces year-end individual tax information for employees.
