Small Business and Education Priorities

As I stated in 2012 when running for this office, my top priorities this session are small business initiatives and education reform.

It has been almost three months since I have been sworn into office and I have been busy around the district meeting with local small businesses and small business association’s to make Wisconsin more pro-business. I have had the pleasure to meet with members of the Waukesha County Business Alliance and listen to their ideas and perspectives. I have also met with people from the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce to talk through ideas on how we are able to help ease regulations on small business in Wisconsin so they are able to grow and expand.

Over the next 3 weeks I have I have meetings scheduled with school Superintendents in the district. We will be discussing funding and education priorities to make sure that our students receive the best education possible. On March 19th, I was able to meet with multiple Superintendents from Southeast Wisconsin to better learn what challenges these school districts face and how we can assist schools to prepare students with the needed skill set for a successful future in the modern day workforce.
