  • Rep. Steineke Statement on Assembly Passage of Budget Bill
    Today the Assembly passed the state budget bill that establishes a solid fiscal plan for the next two years. I was pleased to vote for a budget that cuts taxes, invests in education, reforms government, and sets Wisconsin on course for a better future.
  • Rep. Steineke Votes to Repair Unemployment Insurance Program
    This long-awaited reform will help root-out waste and abuse while strengthening the solvency of the unemployment insurance fund.
  • E-Update: Joint Finance Committee Passes Budget
    The Joint Finance Committee finished up their work on the state budget this week. They passed one of the largest tax cuts in history, simplified the tax code, increased funding for public schools and strengthened safety nets for our most vulnerable.
