Rep. Staskunas Bill Increases Ignition Interlock Device Use to Save Lives
Today State Senator Chris Larson (D-Milwaukee) and State Representative Tony Staskunas (D–West Allis) introduced legislation to strengthen Wisconsin’s drunk driving laws through increased use of ignition interlock devices (IIDs). This bill would require IIDs to be installed in vehicles of any first-time convicted drunk driver, not just repeat offenders or those with a blood alcohol content (BAC) above .15.

Wisconsin Blue Books and Maps

The Legislative Reference Bureau compiles a publication on a biennial basis called the Wisconsin Blue Book. The Blue Book is printed every two years and serves as the offical state publication regardnig the organization, operation, and related functions of our state government. It is an excellent reference resource pertaining to all aspects of Wisconsin government.

The Wisconsin Blue Book can be found online. A hard copy of the 2011-12 Blue Book became available for distribution in October 2011. Its publication was delayed so that results from the Senate recall elections could be included in the resource.

My office is able to distribute, free of charge, Wisconsin Road Maps and hard copies of Blue Books. To request a map or Blue Book, please contact my office.
