MILWAUKEE - A group of local lawmakers is hosting a neighborhood meeting Tuesday to discuss a proposal to build a bike lane on the Hoan Bridge.

Rep. Jon Richards (D-Milwaukee) announced he will be hosting a neighborhood meeting with two fellow Milwaukee Democrats, Rep. Christine Sinicki and Sen. Chris Larson, along with state transportation officials.

Richards told Newsradio 620 WTMJ that the idea has been in discussion for years. "There is a great deal of support for a bike lane over the Hoan Bridge. It's something we've been talking about for more than a decade," said Richards.
