Assembly Speaker Robin Vos on State of the State Address The governor's speech tonight was more about politics than anything else.While the governor talks about bipartisanship, the legislature actually delivers on it. I’m proud of the bipartisan track record in the Assembly with 95 percent of the votes getting bipartisan support last year.

Democrats Join Republicans and Vote to Override Governor Evers’ Vetoes Republicans, with the support of the Democrats on the Joint Committee on Finance, were able to override two of Governor Evers’ vetoes. In recognition and acknowledgment of Governor Evers’ mistakes, Democrat members of the committee have put people before politics.

Rep. Steineke: Dems Place Party Politics Ahead of Saving Lives The Assembly failed to override Governor Evers’ veto of Assembly Bill 76 when several Democrat members doubled back on their commitment to constituents, flip flopping their vote in favor of Evers and their party bosses. Instead of voting to protect our most vulnerable they chose to play politics.
