    Twelve Legislators called for a legislative investigation to explore the potential legal and ethical violations involving Walker’s chief environmental appointees allowing a political donor to dump human waste near drinking water wells.

  • Dem lawmakers seek probe of DNR in waste hauler case
    Democratic legislators Wednesday called for the state Legislature's natural resource committees to investigate the actions of the state DNR in its handling of an enforcement case against an Oconomowoc waste hauler.
  • DNR eyes campaign contribution disclosure policy
    Rep. Louis Molepske Jr. charged the DNR seemed to exhibit more concern for the violator in this case than the people affected by the excessive spreading of waste for which Herr Environmental Inc. was cited.

  • State Recycling Funding Conservation Congress Issue
    Of those who participated in the Wisconsin Conservation Congress, 67 percent of the votes cast were in favor of restoring $12 million for the state's Recycling Fund that goes to create jobs, promote recycling and reduce the needs for new landfills.
