Department of Natural Resources Announces Public Hearing on Golden Sands Dairy Proposal

The Department of Natural Resources announced that it will be holding a public informational hearing on the environmental impact statement concerning the proposed Golden Sands Dairy in the Town of Saratoga.

The public informational hearing will be held in two sessions on Thursday, August 23, at the Saratoga Town Hall, 1120 State Highway 73 S, just south of Wisconsin Rapids. The sessions will run from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

I will attend the session being held from 3:00-5:00pm but will be unable to attend the second session due to a Public Listening Session I will be hosting in Wautoma.

As a Representative, I understand how vital it is to receive feedback from stakeholders in regards to this project, as well as attain details of the proposed farm and its environmental impacts. I would be more than happy to meet with anyone who has concerns about the project or any other issue in the 72nd Assembly District.
