Listening Sessions

Rep. Jorgensen has regular listening sessions in locations throughout in the 37th Assembly District each month. Jorgensen has held these informal meetings – often referred to as “Andy Is In” - in restaurants and other businesses in Jefferson and Dane Counties since he was first elected to the Assembly in 2006. In 2011, he decided to expand the schedule in order to reach out to more of his neighbors and friends in the 2011-12 legislative term. In the first year of the term alone, he held more than 70 listening sessions!
“The most important job of a state lawmaker is to listen to the people he or she represents, and I have always wanted folks in my district to feel like it was easy to touch base with me on the issues they care about – or to share their concerns,” said Jorgensen. “This year, I’m adding locations and times to my ‘Andy Is In’ schedule to be even more available for constituent input and feedback.”
In May, he will be “in” at the following locations and times:
Tuesday, May 8th at 12:30 p.m.
Jefferson Senior Center
859 Collins Road, Jefferson
Wednesday, May 16th at 12:00 p.m.
The Keystone Grill
206 W Main Street, Cambridge
