Victory Follows Uphill Battle for Wisconsin Pregnancy Care Month

On October 25, Wisconsin State Resolution AJR 34 / SJR 28  “Honoring Pregnancy Care Centers and Proclaiming October 2011 as Pregnancy Care Month in Wisconsin” has now passed the state senate and the assembly. This sounds like a dream in a world where pregnancy centers are constantly under attack. It was an uphill battle in the assembly with the pro-abortion democrats strongly opposing the resolution. In fact, the abortion lobby worked hard -- and still failed to defeat the law thanks to the unflagging commitment of Karen Regnier and statewide, pro-life supporters.

Wisconsin State Rep. Steve Nass commended Pregnancy Helpline of Walworth County, a Heartbeat International affiliate, for the help they provide for pregnant women and families in the district that he serves. Pregnancy Helpline of Walworth County Executive Director Karen Regnier  was in the assembly gallery when the republicans gave Pregnancy Helpline a standing ovation.

Congratulations, Pregnancy Helpline of Walworth County and all of your supporters!
