"This is a public health and public safety issue. Approximately 30% of underage people admitting to binge drinking any given month. About 70% of those arrested for underage drinking admit to getting behind the wheel of a car," said Jacque.
Wisconsin Assembly passes drunken driving bills
Jacque told reporters before the Assembly began work Tuesday afternoon the bill would deter minors from sneaking into bars, in turn curbing binge drinking and drunken driving. “This is a public health and public safety issue,” Jacque said.
