  • Rep. Hintz Receives Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin Award
    State Representative Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) has received the Rebecca C. Young Leadership Award from Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin for his work on behalf of women’s health and reproductive rights in Wisconsin.

    “I am appalled and disheartened by the recent bombing at Planned Parenthood’s Appleton North Health Center. Every person, whatever their belief, should be disturbed by this criminal act intended to harm and intimidate a community reproductive health care provider and its patients," said Rep.     “This change in law will strengthen partnerships between educational institutions and local community foundations,” Representative Hintz (D-Oshkosh) said, “Now the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation will be able to work with Oshkosh area schools and libraries to maximize gifts. Fund managers in the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation will be able to put their knowledge and experience to work in order to safely and effectively manage these funds so that donor intent may be fully achieved.”
