  • Hintz Statement on Repealing the Healthy Youth Act
Representative Hintz issued the following statement after the Assembly Committee on Education voted down party lines to repeal the Healthy Youth Act, "I am deeply disappointed with my colleagues on the Education Committee. Wisconsin is not a Petri dish for right wing social experiments. We should expect decisions to be made in the best interest of public health, not to appease interest groups such as Wisconsin Family Action who authored this bill.”
  • Hintz, Bernard Schaber, King Question Walker's Termination of the Well Woman Contract
“When decisions regarding cancer screenings for women without health insurance come a distant second to some misguided ideological social agenda, everyone in Wisconsin should be concerned," said Rep. Hintz (D-Oshkosh).
  • Hintz Statement on September Jobs Report
“As more families in Wisconsin struggle with a recession reaching crisis level, we hear sound bites and slogans, but have an agenda that reflects little of the urgency needed,” said Hintz. “Instead of focusing like a laser on the needs of the economy and helping individuals get back on their feet, we have thin agendas with backwards policy proposals.”

Dear Friends:

It is an honor serving as your Representative for the 54th Assembly District. On this website you will find information about my office and the ways in which I may be of service to you. I hope you find it useful. I have created this website as a way to encourage people in the Oshkosh community to contact me with questions and concerns. In the future I hope to develop additional features for the website that make state government and my work in Madison more accessible to constituents.  I invite you to stop back and check on our progress.  In the meantime, you can e-mail me here, or visit my constituent services page for flag and material requests.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you come back again soon.

Sincerely,
