Rep. Czaja Takes Oath of Office for Second Term
(Madison) – State Representative Mary Czaja (R-Irma) was sworn into office during the Inaugural Ceremonies held Monday at the State Capitol. This is her second term representing the 35th Assembly District.
“I am very grateful for the continued support of my constituents,” commented Czaja.  “We accomplished big goals during my first term, including completion of the Bearskin-Hiawatha Trail which was a project 30-years in the making. I’m also proud that of the legislation I authored that will directly benefit the Northwoods, including increased funds for the state’s snowmobile program and allowing expanded crossbow use. My priority this term will continue to be growing our northern economy and finding ways to make government more efficient.”

Tom Tiffany, who has also been appointed to the finance committee. Czaja will also serve as a member of the Assembly Committee on Environment and Forestry.
“Serving as a member of the budget committee is a tremendous honor, and I am going to work each day to bring the northern perspective to the decisions we make,” said Czaja.  “I want residents of the 35th Assembly District to know that my door continues to always be open, and I welcome their thoughts and ideas.”
