Express your Opinion on issues before the State Legislature
It's important for me to hear your thoughts on issues that are important to you and your family.  Please contact me and share your position on issues being considered by the State Legislature.

Request for Legislation
It’s common for a representative to become aware of the need for legislation through contacts with constituents.  I would like to hear from you if there is a law you would like to see changed or implemented in Wisconsin.  I’d also like for you to be a part of the process.

Please submit your request in writing and include your suggestion for possible wording of the legislation. Your request should be as specific as possible and include relevant details and background.

This information is extremely helpful when working with the drafting attorneys so we have a clear direction and intent for the legislation.  Multiple drafts of a bill can prolong the legislative process, which can take several months already.  I look forward to hearing your ideas!

Help with a State Agency
I will be more than happy to help you resolve any problem with a state agency. Please email me at: rep.bies@legis.wi.gov, and I will do everything I can to help you receive a fair and timely response.

Request a Legislative Citation
It would be an honor to recognize your outstanding achievement with a Legislative Citation. Past citations have been presented for scouting awards, significant personal or business anniversaries, educational achievements, and athletic championships.

Please contact my office with the following information:
  • Exact name of the person to be honored
  • Background information about the person
  • Date and time you'd like the citation to be presented
  • Any other applicable information
