I love coming to work in Wisconsin's state capitol building each day. I think our Capitol is one of the most beautiful buildings in our entire nation! I invite you to visit this amazing building, whether your last visit was last week, last year, or many years ago for a fourt grade visit. Here is some information about official tours and about reserving different rooms of the Capitol.
Capitol Tours
Whether you are planning a visit to the state Capitol as
part of a large group, small gathering, or just by yourself, our office can
assist you in scheduling a free guided tour of the Capitol building during
normal business hours.
· Free
tours are offered daily, year round. Tours depart from the ground floor
Information Desk Monday through Saturday at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 am and 1:00,
2:00, 3:00 pm; and Sundays at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 pm. A 4:00 pm tour is offered
Memorial Day through Labor Day.
· The
sixth floor museum and observation deck are also open during the summer months.
· Groups
of ten or more should call (608) 266-0382 to make a reservation or make arrangements online.

School
Groups Visiting the Capitol – If your class is scheduling a visit to the Capitol,
you can call us to arrange a brief meeting and a group photo with Rep. Berceau.
The photos are free of charge, and multiple copies are available for everyone.
We can also offer free copies of "How a Bill Becomes a Law," and for
the younger crowd, coloring and puzzle books of the Capitol.

Reserving a Room in the Capitol
Groups can reserve a room in the Capitol, free of charge,
for meetings, or other special events, including weddings. A $750 refundable
deposit is required.
