Internship Opportunities
Each semester, one undergraduate or graduate student joins my office as an intern. Internships
are a great way to become familiar with the inner workings of state government firsthand and to get to
know the names and faces of people effecting change in our state. Interns
are unpaid, but I
work with interns to create an internship experience that utilizes their
skills and talents and allows them to delve into an area of
work that interests them.
Interns are expected to work at least 10 hours per week, ideally in
blocks of 4+ hours at a time. An internship comes with expectations of
professionalism and commitment to at least one semester of work.
Internships are available to undergraduate and graduate students.
If you are interested in applying for an
internship in my office, please submit a cover letter, resume, and
writing sample to Rep.Berceau@legis.wi.gov.
