welcome during community visits with Rep. Roys
Rep.
Roys and Assembly Majority Leader Thomas Nelson made
joint visits to various communities across the 81st
District, meeting with local elected officials and going
door-to-door to discuss economic progress and other
issues impacting the area. “Rep. Roys knows her district
well, and she is a strong voice for her constituents,”
said Majority Leader Nelson.

Metro commuters

Roys' rolling listening session on various Madison Metro
bus routes throughout the 81st District on August 17 was
filled with productive dialogs on transportation policy
and other issues important to local residents. Thank you

Assembly Judiciary
and Ethics Committee holds public hearing on Rep. Roys'
intentional torts bill
AB 384,
legislation sponsored by Rep. Roys that would
extend legal protections for victims of intentional
harm, was given a public hearing by the Assembly
Judiciary and Ethics Committee on August 25. Efforts in
the Senate to pass the bill are led by State Sen. Jim
Sullivan.
