25th Assembly District

In Wisconsin, responsibility for redrawing legislative and congressional district lines rests with the legislature. The legislature is required to redraw legislative and congressional districts every ten years based upon the results of the decennial federal census.

As a result of redistricting, the 25th Assembly District has changed. The newly drawn 25th Assembly District (as passed by the Legislature and awaiting the Governor's signature) will be applied to the 2012 elections, and can be found here: (Look for "25" on the map and zoom in as needed.) http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?services=a30c46aa74c945408ef46284b9696eea

The new map will include: ( * new area for 25th)

Calumet County: Towns of Charlestown*, Chilton*, and Rantoul. Villages of Hilbert and Potter. City of Chilton*.

Manitowoc County: Towns of Cato, Eaton, Liberty, Manitowoc, Manitowoc Rapids, Maple Grove*, Newton, Rockland and part of Meeme. Villages of Reedsville, St. Nazianz Valders, and Whitelaw.

"Lost" Village of Cleveland, Town of Centerville, and part of Meeme.
