Ghost of the Assembly Image

The photograph below does a fairly good job capturing the image often called the Ghost of the Assembly in the Edward Blashford's painting "Wisconsin" located in the Wisconsin State Capitol Assembly Chamber. He is located just above the badger in the painting. The soldier's half dome helmet is located to the right of the monk's cross placed on his lap and the painted out soldier's shoulder nearly touches the service man's elbow next to him on the right.
