Spring Survey Is Here

Wisconsin goes through its budget process every odd year from February to the end of June. To best represent your priorities for the state budget, it is important for legislators to hear from you. In the coming days, you will be receiving a survey and newsletter in the mail.  This allows you to highlight the most pressing issues facing Wisconsin and the 97th Assembly District.

You can take the same survey online now by clicking the included link below.

Bright Stores

The Property Tax Assessment Practices Committee wrapped up late last December, but the work on the “dark stores” problem faced by businesses and communities is not over.  The committee reviewed statutory, administrative, and judicial directives on assessment practices and the consistency of assessment practices throughout the state.  On March 6, it recommended three pieces of legislation to the Joint Legislative Council.  Representative Allen and Senator Olsen summarized those committee recommendations and recent court decisions in an interview with WisconsinEye.
