Tax relief for individuals and families struggling with rare disease

Religious Overtones in Flag Raising

Americans and Wisconsinites rally around the U.S. and Wisconsin flags for a reason - they are symbols of unity.  Governor Evers decision to raise the pride flag over state buildings isn’t reflective of that unity.  The humanism seemingly promoted by our governor violates its own tenets of diversity, tolerance and inclusion. 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment

One century ago on June 10, 1919, members of the Wisconsin Legislature voted to ratify the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which declared that "the right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.” Wisconsin was the first state to ratify this amendment, which guarantees women’s suffrage. In celebration of this historic moment, my office has available copies of the Legislative Reference Bureau’s publication, "Capturing First Honors: Wisconsin Ratifies the Nineteenth Amendment on June 10, 1919." If you would like a copy mailed to you, simply email or call my office.
