Rep. Doyle: We need to do our homework on Foxconn If you received an offer of a new job with double the salary would you accept it without doing your homework? I think most of us would have that moment of “YES!” but then common sense would prevail. We would take a step back and ask some questions. Where is the job? Will I have to pull my kids out of school? Will this job be for the long term or is there a risk that it might be short term? There is much to consider before grasping that shiny object.

Rep. Doyle: It's Time to Change the Tone in Politics The horrific events at that baseball field in Virginia have left our nation reeling. Our government and our people are more divided than at any time in recent memory. Our country can’t survive if this anger and hatred continues. It will only breed more terrifying situations like the one we saw earlier this week. It’s time to change the way our country and our people think and talk about politics.

ASSEMBLY DEMOCRATS COME TO JULES TO TALK ABOUT BUDGET Assembly Democratic Leader Peter Barca (D-Kenosha), Assistant Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein (D-Middleton), Caucus Chair Mark Spreitzer (D-Beloit), and Vice Caucus Chair Steve Doyle (D-Onalaska) will be at Jules Coffee House in La Crosse on Wednesday, April 26th at 2:30 pm to discuss the local impact of the budget.

Steve Doyle (D–Onalaska) will be holding a public listening session on the proposed 2017-2019 biennial budget. This budget listening session will offer residents of La Crosse County the opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns on the various issues and programs included in the budget bill.

Doyle to hold Roundtable on Transportation Concerns “Transportation funding is the most pressing issue facing our state right now and it affects everyone from families driving to work, students riding a bus to school, and businesses transporting their products across the state,” said Doyle. “This isn’t a Republican or Democratic issue – it is an economic issue.”

La Crosse area Democrats co-author legislation to lower student loan debt "At $1.4 trillion, student loan debt has exceeded credit card debt in America and is second only to mortgage debt," said Rep. Rep. Doyle introduces common sense bill to protect schools MADISON – State Representative Steve Doyle (D – Onalaska) introduced a bill today that closes a current loophole in the law that makes it difficult to charge a person who makes a threat to use a firearm to injure or kill people at a school.
