Summer Events 

Summer is in full swing, and that means there are a number of exciting summer events coming up in our area!

Hub City Days (Marshfield) July 25th - July 27th

Marshfield's 15th Annual Hub City Days celebrates Marshfield's historic downtown and growing community culture. The celebration includes events such as the car show, Hub City Hoops, Family Zone, Brew Fest, and more.

Hmong Wausau Festival (Wausau) July 27th - July 28th

The purpose of the Hmong Wausau Festival is to shed light on the existing sports, music, and arts in the Hmong community. There will be sports, games for kids, dance, singing, and more.

Wisconsin Valley Fair (Wausau) July 30th - August 4th

The Wisconsin Valley Fair is a Central Wisconsin tradition dating back to the 1800s. Now the fair lasts five days and includes events such as a carnival, live music, a rodeo, and animal shows.

Central Wisconsin State Fair (Marshfield) August 20th - August 25th

Wood County's Central Wisconsin State Fair includes five days of entertainment such as live music, a carnival, great food, and contests. Last year changes were made to the fairgrounds to include more entertainment and carnival fun.

Central Avenue in Marshfield

Here is a link to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s webpage for the WIS 97 (Central Avenue) project currently underway in Marshfield. The webpage includes a project map and details pertaining to the work that will be completed on this section of the road. The project started earlier this summer and should be finished by the end of August.
