Cultivate Yourself Beyond the Farm

The Marathon County Farm Bureau, UW Extension Marathon County and the Job Center of Wisconsin are collaborating to host the Cultivate Yourself Beyond the Farm program. This program is designed to introduce farmers to potential employers and resources.

Join these partners on January 22nd from 10AM-noon at the Marshfield Agriculture Research Station to connect with Job Center Staff and potential employers. Resources provided include assistance searching for jobs, exploring careers, accessing training and resources, in addition to a host of workshops on computer skills, resume writing and interviewing.

This month, I will be hosting office hours in the evening to reach working families about a topic impacting constituents throughout the district: child care. Child care is becoming increasing unaffordable for families throughout Wisconsin. While I am meeting with my colleagues in the Legislature and Administration to identify solutions, I want to hear from those impacted most: you! Stay tuned for more details on my January Office Hours.
