Voting information for the 72nd Assembly District:
TODAY, Thursday April 2, 2020, is the LAST DAY to request an absentee ballot be mailed to you. Contact your municipal clerk. Contact information for all municipal clerks in the 72nd District are available below.
Early, in-person absentee voting can still be done today and tomorrow, April 2 and 3. Again, information and locations to do this, for all municipalities in the 72nd District, are available below.
Regarding voting in-person, at a polling location on the day of the election: Let me share with you two important points from the Wisconsin Statutes:
6.78 Poll hours.
6.78 (1m) The polls at every election shall be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
6.78 (4) Any elector waiting to vote, whether within the polling booth or in the line outside the booth at the time the polls officially close, shall be permitted to vote.
Again, please note that as regards absentee voting, the last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is already here: It is today Thursday, April 2.
