Good to Know Info

Happy New Year!

This will be the seventh year that the Wisconsin State Park System will host First Day Hikes on New Year's Day. The DNR has named 17 state forests, parks or trails offering activities. Start 2018 off with hiking, biking, skiing or snowshoeing. Details regarding times, cancellation notifications, suggested gear, rules involving pets and contact information for each location are included in this article. Dress warm and get outdoors and enjoy Wisconsin!

2018 vehicle admission stickers can be purchased at the park office.

In Progress Legislation

Our proposed incontinence product legislation is out for co-sponsorship. This legislation repeals sales tax on diapers and urinary incontinence undergarment products to help make them more affordable.

What's New

Bill Rosenau, Waushara County Veterans Service Officer, and Tommy Bohler, Wautoma City Administrator/Clerk/ Treasurer, have been instrumental in obtaining Combat Wounded-Reserved Parking signs for the city of Wautoma to honor veterans who suffered combat wounds. The three signs will be placed at the World War II Memorial Building, Scott Street, and City Hall. Thank you for your time and effort.
