Welcome to my e-update

Thank you for taking the time to read this week's e-update. I always strive to include information you find both interesting and informative relating to my work in Madison and the 60th Assembly District.

My most important goal remains serving you, my constituents. Helping you find solutions to difficult problems when it seems like the state is unresponsive is the single greatest reward for my staff and me. I take constituents' input seriously and continually work hard on your behalf.

I always have your thoughts and concerns in mind when deciding whether or not to support legislation. Furthermore, I appreciate when you take time out of your busy schedules to contact me.

Have a great week,

The committee has drafted several bills relating to these. The legislation and all committee materials can be found on the committee website

Discussion on these proposals will continue over the next few weeks. The committee will cast its final votes on these proposals at our December 18th meeting. As always, your feedback is appreciated.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving_2017.jpg

From my family to yours, have a safe, joyous, and Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving has been celebrated since 1789 when President George Washington issued a proclamation establishing the first nationwide celebration in the United States.

In his October 3, 1863, Lincoln wrote, "It has seemed to me fit and proper that they solemnly, reverently, and gracefully acknowledged as with one heart and voice by the whole American people; I do, therefore, invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea, and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving..."
