Madison, WI - Representative Jesse Kremer (R-Kewaskum) issued the following statement this afternoon to all legislators, the Department of Health Services (DHS) Secretary Kitty Rhoades and Governor Scott Walker regarding the video from a leading Planned Parenthood doctor purporting that the organization may be in the business of selling fetal body parts for profit.

" Just yesterday, a heartbreaking and sickening video was released where Planned Parenthood's Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, admits that the nation's largest abortion business sells aborted baby body parts. In this video, she casually describes how Planned Parenthood profits and collects these organs, and graphically describes the illegal abortion methods used on these children while she is eating and drinking.

This practice of selling body parts and performing partial birth abortions is in violation of federal law - and Wisconsin law. In light of this information, it appears necessary to launch an investigation of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin to see if they too are violating both federal and state law.

Wisconsin has the right to know if illegal partial birth abortions and the of selling unborn baby body parts is occurring right here in our state, and I ask the Secretary of the Department of Health Services, Governor Scott Walker, and my fellow legislative leaders to act quickly to ensure our state law is being obeyed."

Rep. Kremer represents the 59th Assembly District which includes Southern Calumet, Western Sheboygan, Northern Washington, and Eastern Fond du Lac counties.
