Rep. Jesse Kremer to Support Bills Protecting Privacy, Personal Freedoms and Safety
Madison, WI – Today, the Assembly will take up two bills important to the protection of personal privacy, freedom and safety in Wisconsin. Assembly Bill 10 seeks to give courts jurisdiction in cases of domestic abuse or harassment toward Wisconsin residents occurring across state lines, and Assembly Bill 19 prohibits the use of a GPS device to track a vehicle’s whereabouts without the owner’s consent, with exceptions for law enforcement officers acting in an official capacity, lienholders, parents tracking minor children and business owners tracking their vehicles.
“As an original co-sponsor of both of these bills, I look forward to continuing to support the protection of individual privacy, personal freedom and safety with my vote on the Assembly floor.”
Rep. Kremer represents the 59th Assembly District which includes Southern Calumet, Western Sheboygan, Northern Washington and Eastern Fond du Lac Counties.
