Rep. Gannon Inaugurated to Assembly
Madison…Representative Bob Gannon (R-West Bend) took the oath of office Monday afternoon to officially begin his first term in the 102nd Wisconsin State Legislature. Rep. Gannon is taking office with a commitment to improving the economic climate in Wisconsin to create new jobs and keep taxes low for the state’s citizens.
“I am excited to begin serving the individuals and businesses in the 58th Assembly district,” said Rep. Gannon. “My constituents have put their faith in me and I will serve as their voice in Madison to help foster an environment of economic improvement, business growth, and low taxes."
Rep. Gannon is serving as the Vice-Chair of the Assembly Committee on Children and Families. He is also a member of the Committees on Corrections, Insurance, Small Business Development, and State Affairs and Government Operations.
“My years as a business owner and active member of my community have given me unique knowledge and experience that I can bring to these committees,” said Rep. Gannon. “I look forward to working with other legislators to bring about positive change.”
Rep. Gannon was joined Monday at the inauguration by his wife Kris and other family members.
Rep. Gannon is one of 63 Assembly Republicans serving in the 2015-2016 legislative session. This session’s GOP Assembly majority is the largest since 1957.

The 58th Assembly District is located in Washington County and includes West Bend, Slinger, Jackson and Richfield.
