Your Money Belongs in
Your Pocket |
When I was running my own business, I made it a priority not
to overcharge folks. With a massive state tax revenue surplus,
the right thing to do is to return money to those people who paid in,
and that’s what I’m fighting for. This morning, at Team
Industries in Kaukauna, my colleagues and I introduced our
proposal to return your hard earned money to you. Instead of
recklessly spending the state surplus, we’re proposing to
dedicate it to paying down state debt, cutting personal property
tax, making a deposit in the rainy day fund, and, most
importantly, returning it to the taxpayer through a middle class
income tax cut.

Recognizing Life When it
Begins |
Activist judges in two Midwestern states
recently created new interpretations of their State
Constitutions to invent a constitutional right to abortion. This
imaginative trend of interpreting state constitutions endangers
the right to life in Wisconsin, which is why my colleagues and I
have introduced a
Wisconsin Constitutional Amendment to Establish Personhood.
If adopted by the legislature in two consecutive sessions and
ratified by the people of Wisconsin in a statewide referendum,
this amendment would protect human life at all stages of
development, and prevent activist judges from stretching the
Wisconsin Constitution to meet their needs.
