A Conversation with Regent Tim
Higgins: Part 3 |
I'll be using my e-updates to highlight
constituents of the 56th District and give you the opportunity
to learn about some of the dedicated public servants we have in
our own community. This is the last video of my
conversation with Regent Tim Higgins.
Tim is a constituent of the 56th District and serves
on the UW Board of Regents. In this video, we talked about the
Wisconsin Idea and the benefits the UW contributes to our taxpayers
and economic development. |

Online Tool to Report Invasive
Species |
In last week's e-update, there was a story about an invasive aquatic
species called round gobies that were recently discovered below the Neenah dam.
You can learn more about round gobies from the
Department of Natural Resource's (DNR) September 3rd, press release.
The DNR needs your assistance to report findings of these invasive
species. If you catch a round goby, you should kill it, and if you
have access to a mobile device, immediately submit a report of the
catch to the DNR via an online
survey tool.
Anglers are also being encouraged to bring single dead goby
specimens caught on Lake Winnebago or the lower Fox River system
below the Neenah and Menasha dams to the DNR Oshkosh office located
at 625 E. County Road Y Suite 700, Oshkosh, WI, 54901. The office
is open 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
