RT_071212 43_pp.jpgState Representative Gordon Hintz

I was re-elected to my sixth term in the State Assembly for the 2017-2019 Legislative Session. I was appointed as ranking member to the legislature’s budget committee, the Joint Committee on Finance. Prior to serving in the Legislature, I worked in government at the federal, state, and local levels.

A native of Oshkosh, I hold a bachelor’s degree in political science from Hamline University and a master’s degree in public affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I also had the opportunity to teach American Government at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2005-2006.

I was honored to be awarded the Chancellor’s Medallion in 2014 by UW Oshkosh Chancellor Richard Wells in recognition of the leadership and service I provided while serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Building Commission.

My wife Liz and I are both from Oshkosh and enjoy raising our daughter and living in our hometown.
