 Spotlight on Legislation

One thing that I think everyone can agree on is how annoying spam calls to a mobile phone are! Recently, a couple of my colleagues began circulating Senate Bill 132  for co sponsorship that would begin to tackle that issue. The bill would prohibit caller identification spoofing. The bill would also prohibit telephone solicitors from knowingly transmitting misleading or inaccurate caller ID information for any purpose. I signed onto this bill as a co sponsor.
